Weekly roundup: April 19, 2019


A round-up of notable news and updates in the Star Wars Expanded Universe

* Star Wars Celebration wrapped up on Monday. It saw a noticeable uptick in EU cosplay, fan booths, and EU era merch for sale by vendors.

* Marvel 108 final cover was announced at Celebration

* SWTOR Onslaught, the next expansion for The Old Republic, was also announced at Celebration.

* Illustrator Chris Cold is about to begin work on Supernatural Encounters, a lost short novel set in the EU timeline. If you want to (or are able to) be a part of it, the fund drive is still live. Perks include physical copies of the book!

* Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy sent the internet into a frenzy over speculation that a Knights of the Old Republic movie is in the works, the canonicity of which was unknown as of April 2019.

* Star Wars Celebration 2020 was announced and will be held in Anaheim, California. Hopefully more EU/Legends announcements will be made there!
