Thinking back on Del Rey's announcement earlier this month I have to say that Del Rey missed a perfect opportunity here with the re-release of these.
Wouldn't have it been great if Del Rey would've allowed the authors to add a NEW short story for the reprint?
That way, old EU fans would also purchase it, bringing in a windfall of profits for Del Rey.
Having just another reprint with only a new cover doesn't make as much sense to me. Sure they want to attract new fans to the books, I understand that, but I can't help but think this was a missed opportunity from Del Rey.
But that's just me I guess. Let me know what your thoughts are. Will you be getting the new reprints in June?
