What? You thought I was done? Heck no! I still have more suggestions to give out.
You see, there's more to Star Wars than just novels. Something even I tend to forget about from time to time. So today, I'm going to focus on a comic series someone could start with instead of a novel. (if comics are more their thing)
Why?
People familiar with the original movies can easily get sucked in to this masterpiece by Tom Veitch. They can also see how a cloned Emperor story can be done RIGHT.
It has all your favorite characters from the movies in it. Familiar vehicles, new threats and as course an awesome Luke story where he visits the Dark Side to defeat the galaxy's greatest threat.
No one draws like Cam Kennedy and with the return of Boba Fett, I think this is one series that's sure to peak the interest of any new comer to the EU.

Great series. However luke has a stupid love interest that isn't interesting in the slightest. Other then that pretty good.
