Galaxy Tour: Outer Rim: Trilon Sector

By Jason Dietzel

Zaddja System (H-15)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Zaddja

This remote system has one barren planet, which received little interest by any galactic government. The only noteworthy activity on Zaddja came after the Battle of Endor, when Imperial General Redd Wessel dispatched stormtroopers in an unsuccessful attempt to apprehend the Royal Guardsman Kir Kanos.

Gannaria System (H-15)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits: unknown

Another remote system, Gannaria seems to have incomplete information archived. What is known is its production of spice. Between 14 BBY and 0 BBY, Han Solo visited the system on a mission for an undisclosed Hutt. As of 25 ABY, the system was reported to have a population of less than one million sentient beings.

Guter Wade System (H-16)

· Star/Sun: Rek

· Orbits:

o Nach (one moon/satellite)

o Zoge Ver (six moons/satellites)

o Uden Fen asteroid belt

o Renenen (two moons/satellites)

o Rattatak (three moons/satellites)

o Nettani (one moon/satellite)

o Hettig (45 moons/satellites)

o Sanzen (14 moons/satellites)

o Geribun (54 moons/satellites)

By far the most populace system in the Trilon sector, the Guter Wade system is home to the Rattatak species. Most of the planets are uninhabitable, with Hettig, Sanzen, and Geribun being gas giants, and Nach, Zoge Ver, Renenen, and Nettani being inhospitable rock worlds with scorched, sulfuric, poisonous, and toxic environments, respectively.

Rattatak, the only terrestrial planet that can harbor life, though being a dry, arid, mountainous environment, is home to about 900 million sentient beings, about 70% of which are of the Rattataki species. It is believed the Rattataki evolved from early Republic explorations. Due to the seclusion of the system, most of Rattatak’s history remained disconnected with the rest of the galaxy.

The Rattataki spent their existence in clan warfare, vying to survive their harsh world. Few escaped, but those who did ended up as mercenaries. Sometime during the Great Galactic War (3,681-3,653 BBY), a Sith Lord visited the planet and captured hundreds of tribes of the Rattataki, conscripting them into service to the “True” Sith Empire.

Millennia later, Count Dooku, secretly a Sith Lord under the tutelage of Darth Sidious, travelled to Rattatak, where he took on a Dathomirian apprentice. After the Battle of Jabiim, Dooku’s apprentice, Asajj Ventress, transported Obi-wan Kenobi to Rattatak, though he managed to escape.
