Galaxy Tour: Zuma Region: Zuma Sector

By Jason Dietzel

Fusai System (H-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Fusai

A remote planet located in the Fusai subsector, which is turn is part of the Outer Zuma region of the Zuma sector, Fusai became a Rebel base during the movement’s war against the Galactic Empire. Starting in 200 BBY, Fusai had a supercomputer linked to the Obroa-skai library. At some point that link was severed and the library on Fusai was maintained locally.

Shalm System (H-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Shalm

The only system in the Ikenomin subsector, Shalm’s only planetary orbit is of the same name. Shalm’s only major city was Hondan and its highest peak, Mount Ganton, housed an imperial base, until they abandoned it shortly after the Battle of Endor. The anti-Imperial militia group Pendarran’s Revenge took over the base, but also became hostile to any approaches by the New Republic.

Nibiru System (H-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Nibiru

The singular system in the Kakani subsector, the Nibiru system’s sole planet of the same name was a forested planet, similar with Endor in many ways. One such way was the native species being the Ewoks. At some point between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker ventured to the planet to rescue Leia after her shuttle was shot down. The mission was a success and the two evaded Imperial capture.

Firrerre System (H-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Firrerre

One of three systems in the Sugai subsector, Firrerre was the homeworld of the Firrerreons. The near-human Firrerreons enjoyed an idyllic existence for generations, until the Empire came to their world. Darth Vader put the Force-sensitive Firrerreon Hethrir in charge of punishing treason against the Emperor, Hethrir chose to prove his loyalty by nearly eradicating his own people. After Hethrir’s death, Firrerre joined the New Republic before it was invaded and occupied by the Yuuzhan Vong.

Houche System (H-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Houche

The second system in the Sugai subsector, Houche was a remote system in the corner of the subsector. It’s planet, Houche, was the endpoint on the Annaj-Houche Run. Not much is known about the planet, other than having a small population of immigrated humans.

Rodis System (H-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Rodis

The last system in the Sugai subsector is Rodis. It’s planet, Rodis, is the homeworld of the reptilian Rodisar species, being described as crocodylomorphs. They became prey to the Rattataki, who would abduct them to fight in their arenas on Rattatak.

Abbaji System (H-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Abbaji

Located in the Spar subsector, one of two in the Inner Zuma region, Abbaji is known for its lush rainforests and firethorn trees. These gigantic trees were given as elaborate gifts, one such recipient being Prince Xizor of the Black Sun organization. As of the New Republic era, the planet was run by a confederation of local constables.

Xal System (H-16)

· Star/Sun: Xal

· Orbits:

o Xal-3

The only system in the Ablajeck subsector, the second of two in the Inner Zuma region, Xal-3 was the home of the Armorers’ Confederacy, a group of outlaw armorers and weapons technicians. Eventually they were driven out of the system, and they took up residence in the nearby Mordell sector. Their superb skills in weaponsmithing can be credited to the icy terrain of Xal-3.
