If anyone knows me, they know I'm not a fan of mixing 2 different franchises.
For example, I neve want He-Man to play with GI Joe or Voltron to go on an adventure with the Ninja Turtles.....wait a minute let me think about that last one.....umm.....
Still "no."
But with this one I get it. As a joke, George DID include ET's race in Episode 1, tying the two franchises together on the silver screen if only as a rib.
So Joe being Joe is including things from this novel in his series as well. I'll let it slide.
But is this one worth reading? For myself, no. I was never an ET fan due to the fact we were never allowed to watch it as kids because the alien scared my little brother. So years later when I finally saw it, it just didn't have that movie magic like it would've if I'd seen it as a kid.
But kudos to Joe for bringing it into the continuity of EU.
I never thought in my life I'd be reading the sequel novel to E.T. the Extra-terrestrial, but here I am several chapters in now.
