Are you a fan of the movie? What about the prequel series that came out a few years ago? Have you ever wanted them to connect to the Star Wars Universe?
My answer would be "No" yet Joe's set to make it happen in the upcoming novel. This is a pretty easy one to do in my opinion, just plae the planet somewhere in the universe where all their adventures are self contained and could happen anytime in the timeline.
As our character is traveling all over the galaxy, it'd be easy to make a connection to this series. But now I have to ask the question if I want Gelfings in the EU. Maybe a potential team up with hoojibs?

Watched the movie and prequel series. I ended up loving the series and wished they had gotten their second season to connect it closer to the movie. I was confused when I did reach the film and none of the characters were in it. Honestly I found the movie by itself to be lack luster but after the series built upon it I want to go out an read some of the books that take place even before the show starts.
