For Christmas back in 1999 my parents decided to give me the banks. I think at first the only gave me two of them. Obi Wan and Maul but when I learned about what they did, I had to get Qui-Gon to complete the set.
When connected together they'd interact with each other for an epic battle as scene in the movie.
I had these on my book self and would activate them all the time. It was a cool idea though as a "bank" I don't understand why they thought to use.
They had another with R2 and 3PO which I got later but wasn't as cool as this one.
There was a lot of merchandise that came out around the Phantom Menace, but this was one of the coolest in my opinion.
