Mygeeto was an arctic world of crystalline glaciers, snowcapped mountain ranges, and frozen oceans and plains. The planet was the homeworld of the lemur-like Lurmen sentient species. Early in its history, Mygeeto was subjugated as an outpost of the Infinite Empire.

Following the retreat of the Rakatan with the collapse of their empire, Mygeeto returned to obscurity until 6,740 BBY when it was rediscovered by smugglers. The planet would be controlled by the Hutts, the Lurmen being used as slaves, until the Muuns immigrated and incorporated the planet into its galactic banking network, becoming a regional financial hub, along with industrializing as a durasteel mining and manufacturing world.

Mygeeto would shift allegiance from the Republic to the CIS during the Clone Wars and would continue to shift in allegiance between the Empire and New Republic during the Galactic Civil War, ultimately securing its role as a key Imperial world in the Fel Empire for a century following the Yuuzhan Vong invasion until being absorbed into the Galactic Federation Triumvirate.
