Originally used as an exotic retreat by the Muuns of Muunilinst, Sojourn was eventually transformed into a secret Sith temple by the Muun Sith Lord Darth Plagueis, masking its Sith ceremony and artistry into the moon’s original resort industry. Sojourn was the location of the initial plans behind the creation of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, at the behest of the incognito Darth Plagueis.
Shortly before the blockade of Naboo, Sojourn was bombarded in an attempt by Plagueis’ former apprentice, Darth Sidious, to assume the mantle of Dark Lord of the Sith. Plagueis was able to escape the devastation, leaving the moon a desolate wasteland.
