Touring the Galaxy: D'Astan Sector

Axxila System (O-5)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Axxila

An ecumenopolis similar Corsucant, Axxila was a major planet in the sector. Shifting hands throughout history, Axxila was part of the Ciutric Hegemony when it joined the Galactic Republic. The planet came under Sith control during both the Jedi Civil War and New Sith Wars.

Returning to the Republic following the New Sith Wars, Axxila eventually seceded and joined the CIS during the Clone Wars. Following the conflict, the planet became a key Imperial world in the region during the Galactic Civil War, remaining as such until 25 ABY when it was briefly conquered by the Yuuzhan Vong.

Axxila returned to Imperial control during their time in the Galactic Alliance, siding with the restructured government during the Second Galactic Civil War. The planet became a key world in the Fel Empire, ultimately coming under the jurisdiction of Darth Krayt’s Sith Empire.

Celanon System (O-6)

• Sun/Star: Nalros

• Orbits:

o Celanon

Homeworld of the canine humanoid Nalroni species, Celanon was a key trade world in the region, rivaling nearby Axxila. A Republic world early in its history, Celanon shifted hands throughout history: the Mandalorians controlling the planet during the Mandalorian Wars, and the Sith controlling the planet during the Jedi Civil War, Galactic War, and New Sith Wars.

Celanon would later secede and become a key Separatist world during the Clone Wars; however, it met swift Imperial punishment following the war when it supported the Separatist holdouts. Celanon would be occupied by Imperial forces until the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, when the planet was occupied by the invaders in 25 ABY.

Following the galactic calamity, Celanon joined the Galactic Alliance by 40 ABY, but by 130 ABY was a Sith world under Darth Krayt’s Sith Empire. It is unclear of the planet sided with the Fel Empire when they broke from the Galactic Alliance some time following the Second Galactic Civil War.

Clysm System (O-5)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Clysm

Clysm was a remote system that saw little galactic traffic.

Doli System (O-6)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

Flyntaria was a remote system that saw little galactic traffic.

Galloa System (O-5)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Galloa II

Homeworld of the enigmatic species known as Wind Dancers, Galloa II was discovered some time prior to the end of the New Sith Wars in 1,000 BBY. By the time of the Clone Wars, the planet fell under Separatist jurisdiction, ultimately becoming an Imperial world by the Galactic Civil War.

Hexus System (O-5)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

Hexus was a remote world that was the site of a battle between Separatist and Republic forces during the Clone Wars.

Isen System (N-5)

• Sun/Star: Isen

• Orbits:

o Kisen (asteroid belt)

o Kossan (asteroid belt)

o Isen

 four unnamed moons/satellites (presumably Isen I-III, V)

 Isen IV

o Kossim (asteroid belt)

Perhaps the remains of planets, the Isen system contained three asteroid belts, and one lone gas giant. Isen IV was the only inhabited moon in the system, home to a pirate group during the Galactic Civil War.

Lorardia System (O-6)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Lorardia

Lorardia was a remote world devastated by pirates around the year 19 ABY.

Nez Peron System (O-5)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Nez Peron

A major agriworld in the region, Nez Peron was a Republic world throughout most of its history, briefly coming under Sith control during the Cold War against the “True” Sith Empire, as well as the Separatists during the Clone Wars. The planet’s citizenry suffered greatly under Imperial rule during the Galactic Civil War, leading to many supporting the Rebel Alliance.

Ord Cestus System (O-6)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Ord Cestus

Homeworld of the insectoid X’Ting species, Ord Cestus was discovered by Republic scouts in 422 BBY, joining the Republic a century later in 321 BBY. An arid world of deserts, mountain ranges and volcanic wastelands, Ord Cestus became a Republic penal colony for mining operations. Coming under Separatist control during the Clone Wars, Ord Cestus was repurposed into a battle droid manufacturing world. Decades later, the planet would be occupied by the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion of the galaxy.

Pedd System (O-6)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Pedd IV (astronomical object)

Pedd IV was an inhabitable planetoid that became a New Republic stronghold during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion.

Rentalles System (O-4)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Rentalles

Rentalles was a remote world that housed an Imperial base during the Galactic Civil War.

Rivvidu System (O-5)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Rivvidu

Rivvidu was a remote world governed by the Empire during the Galactic Civil War.

Samarine System (O-5)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Samarine Province

Samarine was a remote system that saw little galactic traffic.

Serenno System (P-5)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Serenno

A lush world landscaped with forests, jungles, oceans, savannas, and mountain ranges, Serenno was a major Republic world throughout history, briefly being occupied by Sith forces in 3,661 BBY during the Great Galactic War. Following the New Sith Wars, Serenno became a hotbed for anti-Republic uprisings, culminating in secession and joining the Separatists during the Clone Wars.

During the Galactic Civil War, Serenno became a key Imperial world, acting as the regional capital for one of the feuding Imperial warlords following the crushing defeat at the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. It is unclear if the world joined the New Republic or suffered under Yuuzhan Vong occupation during their invasion of the galaxy.

Valahari System (N-5)

• Sun/Star: unnamed

• Orbits:

o Valahari

An arid mountainous world, Valahari remained neutral throughout galactic history, utilizing their superb engineering to provide weapons to the highest bidder. Despite remaining neutral during the Clone Wars, Valahari exclusively provided arms to the Separatists.

Veil Nebula (N-5)

An untraversable nebula, the Veil Nebula housed a Separatist star base, Harko Station, early in the Clone Wars. In 21 BBY it came under attack and was destroyed by Republic forces.
