Touring the Galaxy: Dalondian Sector

Altora System (L-3)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Altora

A remote world of temperate savannas and grasslands, Altora was inhabited by ranchers and farmers.

Belkadan System (L-1)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Belkadan

A tropical world of rainforests and swamps, Belkadan was a remote Rakatan colony in 30,000 BBY until the Infinite Empire collapsed. The planet would remain neutral for millennia until Darth Vitiate’s “True” Sith Empire occupied Belkadan roughly thirty-seven centuries before the Galactic Civil War.

When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy circa 25 ABY, Belkadan was one of the first planets conquered and terraformed by the extragalactic crusaders.

Birgis System (M-3)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Birgis

Located along a regional hyperlane route, Birgis was a minor New Republic world until the Yuuzhan Vong invasion in 25 ABY. Having slaughtered the entire population, the Vong occupied the planet until their defeat in 29 ABY.

Helska System (L-2)

· Sun/Star: Helska

· Orbits:

o Helska 1

o Helska 2

o Helska 3

o Helska 4

o Helska 5

o Helska 6

o Helska 7

Other than Helska 5 being a gas giant, little is known about the other planets in the system, save for Helska 4. Helska 4 was a cold, ice-covered oceanic world. At the edges of the known galaxy, the planet was the first foothold of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion in 25 ABY. The foothold was eventually destroyed by New Republic forces.

Hettitite System (M-2)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Hettitite (destroyed)

Homworld of the humanoid species that would eventually be known as Sernpidalans, Hettitite was a remote planet that came under threat of destruction from a supernova in 365 BBY. As a result, the planet was abandoned before it was destroyed; it’s denizens relocating to nearby Sernpidal.

Julevian System (L-3)

· Sun/Star: Julevia

· Orbits:

o Baratia

o Proxida

§ three unnamed moons/satellites

o Canterse Spread (asteroid belt)

o Gologry

§ two unnamed moons/satellites

o Sernpidal (destroyed)

§ Dobido (destroyed)

§ one unnamed moon/satellite

o Rayamal

§ 45 unnamed moons/satellites

A major system in the sector, the inner two planets were uninhabited molten volcanic worlds, while Gologry was an airless, barren world and Rayamal a gas giant. Sernpidal was the most populace world in the Dalonbian sector, its lush plains and desert oases inhabited early in galactic history.

During the Jedi Civil War, the planet served as a major naval base for Darth Revan’s Sith Empire in 3,959 BBY. Three centuries later, the planet once again came under control of the Sith Empire, this time under Darth Vitiate’s “True” Sith in 3,681 BBY during the Great Galactic War.

In 365 BBY, the Sernpidalans adopted the planet as their new homeworld, residing there until 25 ABY, when the Yuuzhan Vong targeted the planet in their initial invasion. During the invasion, the citied moon of Dobido was pulled into the planet, destroying both, killing millions including the New Republic hero Chewbacca.

Laerdocia System (L-3)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Laerdocia

Homeworld of the Laerdocian species, Laerdocia was a remote system that saw little galactic traffic.

Rychel System (L-2)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Rychel

A remote New Republic member world, Rychel was evacuated by the Jedi during the initial Yuuzhan Vong invasion in 25 ABY. The planet remained in Vong control until their defeat years later.

Seline System (M-3)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Seline

An arctic mountainous world, originally a Gree outpost in its early history, Seline was the site of a major battle between Republic and Sith forces during the Galactic War of 3,643 BBY. In the millennia that followed, the planet saw little galactic traffic, despite being a remote Republic world nominally monitored by the Jedi. In 25 ABY, Seline was one of many worlds initially invaded by the Yuuzhan Vong.

Vonak System (L-3)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Vonak

Homeworld of the near-human Cilare species, Vonak was a remote world of plains and grasslands. In 25 ABY, the Cilare were exterminated, and the planet conquered by the invading Yuuzhan Vong.

Zipthar System (L-2)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Zipthar

Zipthar was a remote system that saw little galactic traffic.
