Touring the Galaxy: Kathol Rift

Demongate System (M-21)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Demonsgate
Looking like it is ablaze due to the ionized particles from the volcanic activity interacting with debris from the nearby rift, Demonsgate was a habitable world with an arid climate from the volcanic instability. Demonsgate was discovered by an Imperial survey expedition and originally designated NCW-86.
Kathol System (M-21)
· Sun/Star: both unnamed
· Orbits:
o Kathol
o at least two destroyed planets
Originally a temperate world that housed the Kathol species, at least a thousand years before the Battle of Yavin, a dark Jedi attacked one of the ancient launch gates orbiting Kathol. The destruction of the gate devastated the planet, forcing the Kathol to sustain their consciousness in an ark, while a Jedi volunteered to hibernate and use her powers to slowly rebuild. However, the arachnid caretaker denounced his role and used the power to seed the world with new species and rule over them.
Q’Maere System (M-21)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Q’Maere
Q’Maere had a deadly and poisonous chlorine atmosphere, with oceans of ammonia, giving off a sickly green hue from space. What few islands dotted the planet were salt-caked volcanoes.
Yvara System (M-21)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Yvara
Home to the bipedal reptilian Yvarema species, Yvara had a vast array of environments from ice and snow capped poles, to deserts and fungal plains, separated by vast oceans and mountain ranges.
