Touring the Galaxy: Mektrun Sector

Joralla System (L-17)

·        Sun/Star: Jaska

·        Orbits:

o   Manalin

o   Grall

o   Joralla

Both inner planets had a poisonous atmosphere, making them inhospitable to life without the use of environmental suits. At some point, the planets were surveyed and Manalin was discovered to be a barren, seared world, while Grall held a temperate climate; however, it was determined both planets lacked any valuable resources.

Joralla, on the other hand, was a lush world of vast oceans, towering mountainscapes, and verdant forests and jungles. Originally the homeworld of the humanoid Wasilsi species and the avian Tikiarri species, the former went extinct millennia before the Galactic Civil War.

In 3,643 BBY, during the Cold War, Joralla was quarantined and blockaded by the reconstituted “True” Sith Empire after a devastating plague erupted across the planet. It is unclear if this plague was the event that triggered the extinction of the Wasilsi. During the Galactic Civil War, Joralla once again came under blockade, this time under Imperial command, following Tikiarri aggression into nearby star systems.

Maro Della System (L-17)

·        Sun/Star: unnamed

·        Orbits:

o   Maro Della

Maro Della was a remote world that saw little galactic traffic.

Mektrun Cluster (L-17)

Except for the Veron Minor system, the Mektrun Cluster was an unexplored nebula of developing stars.

Veron Minor System (L-17)

·        Sun/Star:

o   Noveron

o   Oreli

·        Orbits:

o   Sileron

§  two unnamed moons/satellites

o   Veron Minor

o   Trieron

A verdant world, Sileron was a remote world seldomly visited due to its untamed wildlife and harsh habitat. In the opposite extreme, Trieron was a frigid world landscaped with arctic oceans and glacial continents. By the time of the Galactic Civil war, the planet as home to multiple oceanographic research facilities and universities.

Primary planet in the system, Veron Minor was the homeworld of the humanoid Gazaran bat-like species. Landscaped with large continents of lush mountain ranges, forests, and jungles, Veron Minor initially came under Imperial control during the Galactic Civil War, though later joined the New Republic.
