Becoming a Republic world circa 1,000 BBY, the planet briefly came under Separatist control during the Clone Wars. Its industry suffered under Imperial rule during the Galactic Civil War, and during the Yuuzhan Vong occupation, but was revitalized under the Fel Empire.

The planet aligned with the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War, though remained independent from the New Republic, being able to repel a full-scale Vong occupation during their invasion of the galaxy.

Destrillion was a barren world that was a regional supplier of tibanna gas by the time of the Galactic Civil War. Primarily an oceanic world with island chains and small continents, Dubrillion was a key Republic world in the region for thousands of years, only falling to occupation during the Eternal Empire’s conquest in 3,636 BBY.
Dubrillion became a Separatist world during the Clone Wars, becoming an Imperial world during the Galactic Civil War. Though coming under temporary control by the New Republic and Yuuzhan Vong before and during the Vong’s invasion of the galaxy, respectively, Dubrillion returned to be a key world in the Fel Empire.
