Touring the Galaxy: Obtrexta Sector

Dolis System (J-3)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Dolis 3

Dolis 3 was a wintry world with cities primarily extending across its landscape. During the Galactic Civil War, the planet was a predominant Imperial world in the region.

Fegorosk System (K-4)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Fegorosk IV

Fegorosk IV was a minor world in the region, known for its sprawling entertainment and nightlife districts.

Jaemus System (K-4)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Jaemus

A major manufacturing world in the region and perhaps the Outer Rim, Jaemus held a mass network of shipyards for production of cruisers. Initially a Republic world, Jaemus became a key Separatist world during the Clone Wars. Likewise, the planet would become a key Imperial fortress world during the Galactic Civil War.

Karavis System (K-4)

· Sun/Star: Karavis

· Orbits: none

Karavis was an empty system nominally under Imperial control during the Galactic Civil War.

Muunilinst System (J-3)

· Sun/Star: Muunilinst

· Orbits:

o Varhus

o Trinciuum

§ one unnamed moon/satellite

o Muunilinst

§ two unnamed moons/satellites

o Godsspire (asteroid belt)

o Havath Prime

§ 32 unnamed moons/satellites

o Havath Minor

§ 11 unnamed moons/satellites

All but Muunilinst were uninhabitable worlds, Varhus being a barren, airless rock and the other planets being gas giants. Muunilinst, in contrast, was a lush world of forests, plains, oceans, and mountain ranges, teeming with life and rich in minerals. Originally occupied by the Rakata, Muunilinst became a major world in the Republic, and the primary Muun colony, following the collapse of the Infinite Empire.

The planet became a rival to Coruscant itself, establishing itself as the financial hub of the Republic and the galaxy. Muunilinst caught itself between two fires during the Clone Wars: its financial conglomerates mainly funded the CIS, while the rest of the planet supported the Republic. The Republic was able to liberate the planet from the clutches of the CIS-backed banking clan, but at great cost.

With the onset of the Galactic Civil War, Muunilinst was initially a Separatist holdout, until Imperial forces assaulted the planet and repurposed the financial district to meet the needs of the Empire. Muunilinst would remain an Imperial world for over a century following the Galactic Civil War, despite being devastated by Yuuzhan Vong bombardment during their invasion of the galaxy. It wasn’t until 138 ABY, when the planet joined the Galactic Federation Triumvirate, that Imperial rule came to an end.

Obtrexta System (K-3)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Bescane

A cool, temperate, urbanized planet, Bescane was a manufacturing world initially aligned with the Galactic Republic. With the onset of the Clone Wars, Bescane served as a Separatist production location; however, the planet would become an Imperial fortress world during the Galactic Civil War, remaining so despite Vong assaults during their invasion of the galaxy.

Quanton System (K-4)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Quanton (astronomical object)

Quanton was a remote planetoid that was the site of a skirmish between Imperial and Rebel forces during the Galactic Civil War, resulting in the capture of Rebel Alliance General Airen Cracken.

Varvrona System (K-4)

· Sun/Star: Varvrona

· Orbits: none

Varvrona was an empty system utilized as a waypoint along a regional hyperlane trade route. During the Galactic Civil War, the system came under nominal Imperial jurisdiction.

Mulvar Sensor Station (K-4)

Mulvar Sensor Station was a deep space Imperial scanning station during the Galactic Civil War.
