§ Sivvi

o Enenpa

§ 40 unnamed moons/satellites

An arid world with few arable regions, Thule was originally inhabited by the Sith species. During the reign of Xim’s empire, Thule came under the rule of Xim until the empire’s collapse. In its wake, Adas was able to unite the Sith species into his own Sith empire. Eventually, the Sith kings were usurped by exiled dark Jedi from their defeat during the Hundred Year Darkness.

These dark Jedi established the Sith Order and the Sith Empire, making Thule a fortress world in the empire. Thule remained a key world in the empire through the Golden Age of the Sith and evaded the devastation of the Great Hyperspace War in 5,000 BBY. Following the collapse of the Sith Empire, Thule became a secret haven for Sith refugees fleeing the Sith genocide.

Thule aligned with each Sith empire throughout galactic history: Exar Kun’s Sith Empire during the Great Sith War, Darth Revan’s Sith Empire during the Jedi Civil War, Darth Vitiate’s “True” Sith Empire during the Great Galactic War and subsequent conflicts, and the New Sith Empire during the New Sith Wars. Following the Battle of Ruusan, Thule remained a close ally to Darth Bane’s Order of the Sith Lords.

Aligned with Darth Sidious during the Clone Wars, Thule joined the CIS as a key member. Thule would remain aligned with the Sith following the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire. The planet was erased from navigation charts and historical records to keep it a secret Sith world by Emperor Palpatine. As a result, Thule remained in isolation and escaped the devastation of the Galactic Civil War and Yuuzhan Vong invasion.

Thule’s satellite, Sivvi, was an asteroid captured into gravitational rotation around the planet. Both the Sith, and eventually the Separatists, utilized the moon as a military facility to train in zero-gravity environments. Thule’s neighbor, Enenpa, was a gas giant.

Sith Worlds

Ashas Ree System (R-5)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Ashas Ree

Originally colonized by the Sith species, Ashas Ree came under control of the Infinite Empire, until Sith forces under the leadership of King Adas were able to repel the Rakatan from the region. Following the death of Adas, the planet was ruled by competing kings/lords, a practice that continued after the dark Jedi arrived and established the Sith Order.

Under the original Sith Empire, Ashas Ree was considered a minor planet in the empire and was ruled by a minor Sith Lord. Following the Great Hyperspace War, and the collapse of the Sith Empire, the planet was abandoned as Sith fled the genocide of the species by Republic and Jedi forces. Over a thousand years later, with the return of Sith Empire under Darth Vitiate, Ashas Ree was repopulated. Ultimately the planet was abandoned again, and remained so come the New Sith Wars, when it was but a legend in Sith literature.

Begeren System (R-4)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Begeren

Originally colonized by the Sith, Begeren was one of many Sith worlds liberated from the Rakatan by King Adas. The planet was primarily a desert world and considered a minor planet within the original Sith Empire. Following the collapse of the original Sith Empire after the Great Hyperspace War, Begeren was occupied by the Republic as a gemstone and ore mining colony.

With the resurgence of the “True” Sith Empire at least a thousand years later, Begeren returned to Sith control. At some point, the planet returned to the Republic until it was abandoned by the time of the New Sith Wars. During the Galactic Civil War, Begeren was the site of a Rebel victory, sparking further rebellion against the Empire in the region.

Bhargebba System (R-4)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Bhargebba Six

A terrestrial astronomical object, Bhargebba Six was colonized by Sith forces some time prior to the “True” Sith Empire’s initial invasion of the galaxy. Housing a small ecosystem, all life forms started rapidly dying by the year 3,643 BBY. Determined to be irreversible by Sith scientists, the extinction of all life on the astronomical object was accelerated by the empire.

Bosthirda System (R-5)

· Sun/Star: Bosthirda’s sun

· Orbits:

o Bosthirda

Originally colonized by the Sith, Bosthirda was a mountainous world that became a minor planet in the Sith Empire. Bosthirda was abandoned following the empire’s defeat in the Great Hyperspace War, until it was resettled with the rise of the “True” Sith Empire over a thousand years later. By the time of the New Sith Wars, the planet was once again abandoned.

Eventually resettled by the Prophets of the Dark Side sect prior to the Clone Wars, the planet was kept secret, even to Emperor Palpatine, despite the sect’s loyalty to the Empire. The sect was eventually massacred by Imperial forces during the power vacuum created with Palpatine’s death, returning the planet to obscurity.

Ch’hodos System (R-4)

· Sun/Star: Red Sun

· Orbits:

o Ch’hodos

A mountainous world of deserts and forests, Ch’hodos was originally colonized by the Sith, becoming a minor world in original Sith Empire. Under the “True” Sith Empire, the planet was abandoned in 3,643 BBY after it was realized by Sith scientists that the increased radiation from the expanding Red Sun was causing severe mutations in the planet’s fauna and flora.

Drezzi System (Q-5)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Drezzi

Originally ruled by an independently aligned monarchy for most of the planet’s history, Drezzi was conquered by the “True” Sith Empire at some point prior to 3,954 BBY. The planet remained part of the empire until its eventual collapse at some point prior to 2,000 BBY.

§ two unnamed moons/satellites

o Dromund Fels

§ one unnamed moon/satellite

o Dromund Tyne

Both Dromund Ixin and Dromund Tyne were uninhabited barren world, the inner planet in the system being a molten rock, while the outer planet in the system was an ice rock. Dromund Fels was an arid world, capable of sustaining life. Originally colonized by the Sith during their original Sith Empire, the planet was abandoned before being utilized as a prison colony by the resurgent “True” Sith Empire. As a result, the planet was a hotbed of anti-Imperial insurgency.

Though a gas giant, Dromund Kalakar was utilized by the “True” Sith Empire as an orbit for a network of shipyards in their campaign to conquer the galaxy in the 36th century BBY. Its moon, Kalakar Six, was a volcanic world utilized by the “True” Sith Empire, New Sith Empire, and Prophets of the Dark Side during the eras of the Great Galactic War, New Sith Wars, and Clone Wars, respectively.

The primary planet in the system, Dromund Kaas was a savage, dark world of oceans, jungles, forests, and swamps. Originally colonized by the Sith, the planet was originally a minor world in the original Sith Empire before it was lost to legend. Following the collapse of the Sith Empire after the Great Hyperspace War, forces under the command of Darth Vitiate rediscovered the planet in 4,980 BBY, establishing Dromund Kaas as the capital of the “True” Sith Empire.

Dromund Kaas remained the capital of the Sith through the occupation of the Eternal Empire, until the “True” Sith Empire collapsed some time prior to the New Sith Wars. The planet remained neutral through the millennium-long war between the Sith and Republic, however the planet was unsuccessfully claimed by Sith forces under Lord Kaan. Following the supposed defeat of the Sith, the planet slipped into obscurity and utilized by a Sith splinter group known as the Dark Force/Prophets of the Dark Side in 990 BBY.

Though aligned with Emperor Palpatine, both the Prophets and the Emperor kept the planet’s location a secret, housing it in myth and legend. With the rise of the New Republic and New Jedi Order, the planet was once again revisited by Jedi, but its shroud in the dark side was considered too strong, so the Jedi opted to keep the planet locked in myth. In 44 ABY, the planet hosted a battle between Jedi and Sith forces.

Hallion System (R-5)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Hallion

§ seven unnamed moons/satellites

· Orbits:

o Korriban

§ seven unnamed moons/satellites

Possibly the debris of shattered planets, the Horuset system contained two asteroid fields, the inner belt being the Korriba Scar and the outer belt in the system being the Ashes of Korr. The only planet in the system was Korriban, an arid world of mountains, canyons and a few swamps and lakes. The original homeworld of the Sith species, Korriban was briefly occupied by the Infinite Empire until the Rakatan were pushed offworld by King Adas.

It is unclear if Korriban became an arid world due to the conflict with the Rakatan, or the millennia of civil war amongst the Sith after Adas’ death, but before the rise of the original Sith Empire, Korriban was eventually abandoned by the bulk of the Sith species, remaining a tomb world cared for by religious fanatics. The planet was briefly occupied by Xim’s empire in 25,126 BBY and renamed Pesegam, but the planet returned to Sith control following the collapse of the Tionese empire.

Korriban was visted by dark Jedi in 6,900 BBY, who utilized Sith sorcery to subjugate the Sith people and establish the original Sith Order. Korriban became a key world in the Sith Empire, acting as the religious capital for the Sith Lords to construct elaborate tombs in their honor. Though Korriban nearly abandoned following the Great Hyperspace War, it was resettled roughly a thousand years later during the Great Sith War and Jedi Civil War, becoming the Sith capital under both Exar Kun and Darth Revan.

Korriban was reclaimed by the Sith in the initial stages of the “True” Sith Empire’s re-emergence into the greater galaxy, remaining in their hands throughout the series of conflicts with their galactic opponents. The planet slipped back into obscurity in the intermediary period between the collapse of that Sith empire and the emergence of the New Sith Empire in 2,000 BBY. With the defeat of the New Sith Empire, Korriban once again returned to obscurity.

Come the decades leading up to the Clone Wars, the planet had been renamed Moraband by the Separatist forces occupying the planet. Despite the Galactic Empire being ruled by a Sith Lord, Korriban remained relatively neutral until Palpatine’s death. Later in the Galactic Civil War, Korriban was nominally aligned with the Imperial Remnant, however by the time of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, the planet was neutral and presumed desolate.

Secretly, the planet was occupied by Darth Krayt and his “One” Sith Order faction, once again becoming a key Sith world in Darth Krayt’s “One” Sith Empire that came to galactic dominance circa 130 ABY. Following the death of Darth Krayt, and the collapse of his empire, the planet was abandoned yet again, following chaos that erupted amongst stranded Sith factions there.

During the war, Khar Delba was the fortress world of the Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow and came under attack by his rival Sith Lord Ludo Kressh.

Khar Delba was recolonized by the Sith during the resurgence of Darth Vitiate’s “True” Sith Empire over a thousand years later, only to be abandoned and resettled thousands of years later by Sith forces toward the end of the New Sith Wars. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, the planet was nominally controlled by the Empire, and a century later, Khar Delba had been reabsorbed into Darth Krayt’s “One” Sith Empire.

Khar Shian was also an icy world of mountain ranges and vast tundras. The moon served as Naga Sadow’s true citadel world, playing a pivotal role in the Sith civil war that sparked during the Great Hyperspace War. · Sun/Star: Ziost’s sun

· Orbits:

o Ziost

§ two unnamed moons/satellites

Originally a lush, forested world, Ziost suffered a massive ice age, transforming the planet into a massive tundra with frozen oceans and lakes and snowy mountain ranges by 27,700 BBY. Ziost served as the Sith capital following their successful campaign to push the Rakatan out of the region. Under the rule of the Sith Empire established by the dark Jedi exiles in 6,900 BBY, Ziost became one of five sacred planets to the Sith.

Following the empire’s collapse at the end of the Great Hyperspace War, Ziost was abandoned by the remaining Sith, eventually being occupied by the Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Wars and Darth Revan’s Sith Empire during the Jedi Civil War. With the rise of Darth Vitiate’s Sith Empire, Ziost became a key world of the Sith, until Vitiate used his unique Force power to drain the planet of most life.

Ziost would slip into obscurity once again, until it was recolonized by the New Sith Order during the New Sith Wars. By this time, the planet had somewhat revitalized from the devastating Force Drain imposed on it by Vitiate, though the world didn’t fully recover until after the Galactic Civil War. Ziost remained largely ignored throughout the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War, seeing few visitors. By 130 ABY, the planet was ruled by Darth Krayt’s Sith Empire.
