A minor world in the region, Ord Biniir was a forested planet that was industrialized as an ordnance depot by the Galactic Republic as early as 12,000 BBY. Ord Biniir remained in Republic hands throughout the eras of the Old Sith Wars and the New Sith Wars; however, come the Clone Wars, the planet joined the CIS. During the Galactic Civil War, the planet came under Imperial jurisdiction, only to be conquered by the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion of the galaxy come 25 ABY.

A cool, arid world of alpine forests and plains, Ord Trasi was rich in natural resources, leading it to be colonized early in the Republic’s history. By the time of the Great Sith War in 3,996 BBY, Ord Trasi was a major planet in the Outer Rim and a major shipyard site for building starships. The system switched hands during the Clone Wars following a battle where Separatists forces successfully occupied the planet.
During the Galactic Civil War, Ord Trasi became an Imperial fortress world, producing capital ships. The planet came under New Republic control in 17 ABY; however, the planet was temporarily occupied by the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion of the galaxy before being liberated by Imperial forces, remaining a key world in the Empire.

The Malestorm (K-5)
A vast nebula separating the Relgim sector from the Albarrio sector, the Malestorm forced travelers along the regional hyperlane to traverse its greenish stellar gas clouds at sublight engines. During the Great Galactic War, circa 3,681 BBY, it was discovered the “True” Sith Empire housed a secret prison deep in the nebula, containing the Jedi Revan for three centuries. During the Galactic Civil War, Rebels utilized the nebula to raid Imperial vessels.
