Homeworld of the gigantic humanoid Esoomian species, Esooma was a remote world quarantined by the Empire during the Galactic Civil War. By 7 ABY the quarantine was lifted, and trade resumed with the planet, allowing the Esoomians to reprise their roles as mercenaries and bounty hunters.

A minor world situated along a regional hyperlane route, Salin was colonized by the ancient Kwa until the species was exterminated by the Rakatan. Following the collapse of the Infinite Empire, the planet acted as key waypoint along the trade route, remaining neutral in galactic affairs.
