Goroth System (R-16)
· Sun/Star:
o Goroth Alpha
o Goroth Beta
· Orbits:
o Oris
o Goroth Prime
§ J’Mel
§ Telar
§ V’Sar
o Denava
§ six unnamed moons/satellites
o Denbalen
§ P’Chek
§ six unnamed moons/satellites
Homeworld of the Gorothite species, Goroth Prime was originally a lush world of forests, jungles, grasslands, and oceans. By 10,000 BBY, the Gorothites began the feudal age on the planet. Shortly after 8,000 BBY, the planet became a Republic world when it was discovered by pirates fleeing Republic forces.
However, when war broke out in 4,000 BBY, Goroth Prime declared neutrality to capitalize off both sides of the conflict. Towards the end of the war a major battle caused a cataclysm that turned the planet into an arid, volcanic wasteland and exterminated most of its inhabitants. Forgotten by the Republic, the planet remained neutral as the natives rebuilt their civilization. During the Galactic Civil War, the planet was subjugated by Imperial forces.
The other planets were uninhabited: both Denava and Denbalen were gas giants, and Oris was scorched, airless, and barren. The moon P’Chek was inhabited at one point by an unkown species, but they went extinct before the system was discovered by the Republic. The other moons in the system were uninhabitable.
The system was unique in that its second star, Goroth Beta, distantly orbited Goroth Alpha in the fifth position in the system. It is unknown if the dwarf star was captured by Goroth Alpha early in the system’s development, but many studies suggest Oris originally orbited Goroth Beta before breaking its gravitational bounds and being captured by the system’s primary star.
Iskalon System (R-16)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Iskalon
o Gamandar
o Telfrey
Primarily an oceanic world settled in 5,000 BBY by over a dozen aquatic species following cataclysms on their homeworlds, the new denizens became known collectively as the Iskalonians. During the era of the Old Sith Wars, Iskalon was a Republic world that survived many Sith assaults. The planet came under Imperial control during the Galactic Civil War, but in 3 ABY was occupied by Nagai forces.
Homeworld of the near-human Gamandar species, Gamandar was a neutral world until the Galactic Civil War, when its population was subjugated and enslaved by the Galactic Empire. During the Imperial occupation, the planet was strip mined of its natural resources, rendering it primarily a barren, rocky world.
Nearby Telfrey was the homeworld of the Telfreyan species. A marshy world, Telfrey was also subjugated by the Empire during the Galactic Civil War, though later came under Tof control during the Nagai-Tof War in 4 ABY.
Milarian System (R-16)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Milarian
A minor Republic world in the region, Milarian was established as the sector’s capital during the Galactic Civil War when the Galactic Empire established control of the system.
U-Tendik System (Q-16)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o U-Tendik
A remote world of dense forests and jungles, U-Tendik was a Rodian colony world throughout most of its history.
F’Dann System (R-15)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o eight unnamed planets (presumably F’Dann I – VIII)
o F’Dann IX
A minor system in the sector, F’Dann IX was originally controlled by pirates until Imperial forces subjugated the planet during the Galactic Civil War.
Fenn System (R-15)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Fenn
Fenn was a remote planet that saw little galactic traffic.
Ord Pardron System (R-15)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Ord Pardron
Originally a Republic regional ordnance depot early in the government’s history, Ord Pardron was a low gravity planetoid rich in minerals and ore. At some point the planetoid became a major mining colony in the region, shifting hands to the Galactic Empire, and ultimately the New Republic, during the Galactic Civil War.
Ord Segra System (Q-15)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Ord Segra
Ord Segra was originally a Republic regional ordnance depot early in galactic history. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, the planet remained neutral.
Talay System (Q-16)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Talay
Primarily an oceanic world with mountainous island chains scattered across its vast ocean, Talay was originally a Republic outpost, dating back to before the start of the Great Galactic War in 3,681 BBY. Following the collapse of the Republic, Talay supported the Rebel Alliance until the planet was subjugated by Imperial forces during the Galactic Civil War.
Womrik System (Q-15)
· Sun/Star: unnamed
· Orbits:
o Womrik
