Touring the Galaxy: Yushan Sector

Abraxas System (K-17)

·        Sun/Star: unnamed

·        Orbits:

o   Abraxas

o   Radix

Originally a Republic world rich in natural resources, Abraxas became an arid world following the environmental damage incurred from the abrasive mineral and ore mining operations conducted by Imperial prospectors during the Galactic Civil War. In 4 ABY, following the Battle of Endor, an Imperial splinter group took control of the planet for a few years until New Republic forces drove them from the system.

Nearby Radix was in similar straits. A desert world with arid mountain ranges and canyons, Radix was a refinery world used to manufacture weapons from raw materials mined from Abraxas and other worlds in the region. During the Galactic Civil War, Radix came under control of a renegade Imperial group until its piracy was halted by New Republic forces.

Bhuna Sound System (K-17)

·        Sun/Star: unnamed

·        Orbits:

o   Bhuna Sound

Bhuna Sound was a remote world that joined the New Republic in its early years as a galactic government during the Galactic Civil War.

Dalisor System (K-17)

·        Sun/Star: unnamed

·        Orbits:

o   Dalisor

Dalisor was a minor world situated along a major hyperlane route. The planet hosted a merchant fleet to patrol the region for piracy.

Japai System (K-17)

·        Sun/Star: unnamed

·        Orbits:

o   Japai

Japai was a remote system that saw little galactic traffic.

Jiroch System (K-17)

·        Sun/Star: unnamed

·        Orbits:

o   two unnamed planets

o   Jiroch-Reslia

o   Jiroch-Saloch

o   Jiroch-Kalok

Located on a major hyperlane route, the Jiroch System was home to the Tunroth species of bipedal humanoids. Colonized and ruled by the Triumvirate, leaders from each planet, the system joined the Republic in 9,000 BBY and was a steadfast member throughout the ages.

In 6 BBY, during the Galactic Civil War, the Tunroth came under attack from fanatical cultists and were nearly exterminated save for Imperial intervention. As a result, the system became staunch supporters of the Galactic Empire. Nonetheless, the planet eventually joined the New Republic during the later years of the war.

Kaal System (K-17)

·        Sun/Star: unnamed

·        Orbits:

o   Kaal

Located along a major hyperlane route, Kaal was a major agrarian and food world in the region. Kaal was first occupied by the Infinite Empire for nearly five thousand years, before the Rakatan’s society collapsed circa 25,200 BBY. For eons, the planet remained in isolation until explored by Republic scouts as early as 8,000 BBY.

Kaal became a key agriworld for the Republic in that region of space for millennia, only losing control of the planet during the last few decades of the New Sith Wars. Following the perceived destruction of the Sith Order in 1,000 BBY, Kaal returned as a Republic member, remaining so until the Galactic Civil War when it came under Imperial jurisdiction. Later in the war, the planet became a member of the New Republic.

Little Petrovi System (K-17)

·        Sun/Star: unnamed

·        Orbits:

o   Little Petrovi

Situated along a major hyperlane route, known as the Corellian Trade Spine, Little Petrovi was a minor world in the sector. In 17 BBY, the planet was controlled by Separatist remnants still waging war against the newly reconstituted Galactic Empire. A battle was fought on the planet against Imperial forces, as part of their campaign in the region.

Rrulinn System (K-17)

·        Sun/Star: unnamed

·        Orbits:

o   Rrulinn

A remote world in the sector, the population of Rrulinn fell victim to the Reslian Purge, which almost eradicated the nearby Tunroth in 6 BBY.

Sorotarr System (K-17)

·        Sun/Star: Sorotarr

·        Orbits:

o   five unnamed planets (presumably Sorotarr I – V)

o   Sorotarr VI

A remote world in the sector, Sorotarr VI was regionally known for its entertainment & casino industry.
