Hello again everyone! Wow, has it been a while since I have gotten around to updating everyone on Twin Suns Foundation and everything we have been up to! As most of you are no doubt aware by now, Twin Suns Foundation is a non-profit organization created to expand literacy and foster a love of reading in people across the world. Our primary method of doing so has been to donate books to places like Children’s Hospitals, Schools, Libraries, and even Little Free Libraries.
While donation efforts have been hampered by the ongoing pandemic situation, we actually have three donation events lined up thanks to the help of our generous donors! One is intended to occur in Phoenix, Arizona, another in the Dallas, Texas area, and the final one to be determined, though likely somewhere in Southern California.
Man do I want to get back to donating! I have had over 40 brand new Expanded Universe books sitting near my front door for over a year now, still in their shipping packaging and waiting to get into the hands of kids at Phoenix Children’s Hospitals.
While we have been unable to do our donations events, we have instead taken to holding once a week streams on Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube. What are we streaming? Well several Twin Suns Foundation volunteers, including myself, have been playing Star Wars The Old Republic, both Republic and Sith Empire storylines!
We hope you have had or will soon have the opportunity to join us as our characters experience the stories of the Expanded Universe through a different medium, video games!
While we have been having fun with that, we cannot wait to get back to our primary focus of donating books and promoting the Star Wars Expanded Universe to as many people as possible!
