Demnadi was a minor planet in the region, coming under Imperial control during the Galactic Civil War. In 2 BBY, a planet-wide riot broke out, leading to Imperial special forces being called in to quell the uprising. It was believed Rebel Alliance cells had incited the rebellion; however, no evidence could be found to link the Rebels to the riots.
