Tis the Season . . . of Ugly Sweaters, and while these may not be Expanded Universe specific, I could not let the Holidays pass without a spotlight on the fashion statement of the Season. In recent years, Ugly Sweater Parties have gained in popularity, and you can be the show stopper with these Star Wars Themed Ugly Sweaters that I have found (and perhaps spark a friendly conversation about our beloved Expanded Universe). Most are printed on Sweatshirts that are easy to care for, comfy to wear, but in the style of an Ugly Sweater. Here are a few of my favorites:
"Hoth Sweet Hoth" Ugly Sweater Sweatshirt
This time of year always makes me think of The Empire Strikes Back, which may be my favorite of the Original Trilogy, filled with so many quotable quotes and so many iconic moments. Top of our list was that opening and the Battle of Hoth. Now you can have your own Hoth Sweet Hoth Ugly Sweater.
This screen-printed cozy sweatshirt is easy to care for, machine washable, and has fun Stitch Style details of the Battle of Hoth. Wedge Antilles Snow Snow Speeder challenging an AT-AT, and Luke Skywalker with his lightsaber on the ground.
This sweatshirt will keep you toasty warm even on the frozen tundra of Hoth, as you curl up with Hot Chocolate, like Luke Skywalker.
This sweatshirt by Fifth Sun is a great pun for being home for the Holidays.

"Boba Fett with Han in Carbonite" Ugly Sweater
Love him or hate him, Boba Fett has a huge fan following from his appearance in The Empire Strikes Back (and debut from The Star Wars Holiday Special). Thanks to the Expanded Universe, we know Boba's story extends beyond the movies. Here is a sweater any Mandalorian would be proud to wear.
This Boba Fett Nordic Ugly Sweater has Bantha Skulls on the sleeves, and Boba Fett's trademark "ready for action" stride as he escorts Han Solo to Slave I in ESB; this is a 100% real knitted sweater by Numskull.
They have created a number of official Ugly Sweaters for their Star Wars Line.

Duel on Bespin Ugly Sweater Sweatshirt
My personal favorite! No scene is full of more drama and emotion than Luke Skywalker's Duel on Bespin with Darth Vader. With Snowflakes, and sabers and Imperial and Rebel Logos, this Duel on Bespin sweatshirt by Fifth Sun captures this dramatic moment in the Fun Ugly Sweater Style.
Available on Amazon Here:
"Artoo" Ugly Sweater
You know how you can tell a movie fan from an Expanded Universe Fan?
Most movie fans think this little guy is called "R2", but if you have read the books for years and years as I have, you will have seen "Artoo" spelled out on nearly every page this little droid is featured in as he steals the scene.
Now one of our Favorite Droids is immortalized on this handsome Artoo Ugly Sweater. Ice Blue with Rebel Logos; the only thing you will ask is "Where is Threepio?"
This Sweater by Mad Engine and can be found here on Amazon.com:
"May the Force Be With You" Ugly Sweater Sweatshirt
It is pretty rare to find the Jedi Logo on Merchandise now-a-days, so I was thrilled to find this "May the Force Be With You" Ugly Sweater with The Jedi Logo all over it as Holiday lights, printed on front.
An officially licensed sweatshirt also by Mad Engine, this High Quality Screen Printed design is Machine Washable and a Limited Edition.
