Touring the Galaxy: Hutt Space Si'Klaata Sector

Khorya System (S-9)

· Sun/Star: Khorya

· Orbits:

o Hollow Moon

The Hollow Moon was utilized by the Hutts as a gambling and entertainment destination for most of the system’s history of colonization by the cartels. During the Galactic Civil War, the Empire considered forcing their hand to establish an Imperial base in the system but decided against it to avoid a war with the Hutt Cartels.

Kintan System (S-9)

· Sun/Star: Kintan

· Orbits:

o Kintan

§ three unnamed moons/satellites

Homeworld of the reptilian humanoid Nikto species, Kintan underwent a cataclysm early in its history, affecting the evolution of the Nikto, branching them into five subspecies. Around 25,130 BBY, the planet witnessed a massive civil war amongst its Nikto inhabitants, lasting three decades until the Hutts interceded. As a result of the treaty brokered, the Nikto became indentured to the cartels. The cult responsible for the massive civil war did resurface and temporarily drive out the Hutts around 1,000 BBY, but the cartels were able to quickly reconquer the planet. Years before the Clone Wars, Kintan joined the Galactic Republic, but it was implied that their Senate representatives were merely Hutt puppets. Come the Galactic Civil War, Kintan retained its representation in the Imperial Senate, though it was still assumed their senators were merely mouthpieces for the Hutts.

In 26 ABY, Kintan was brutally subjugated by the Yuuzhan Vong invaders, resulting in roughly 75% of the Nikto species being enslaved or eradicated. Following the devastation of the galactic war against the Vong, Kintan briefly aligned with the Galactic Alliance before joining the Corellian Confederation. Kintan’s allegiance to the Hutts never fully dissolved, and in the decades following the Yuuzhan Vong War and Second Galactic Civil War, the Nikto were slowly able to rebuild their fleeting population.

Klatooine System (S-9)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Klatooine

Homeworld of the humanoid Klatooinan species, Klatooine was an arid world primarily landscaped with deserts, and patches of savannas. Circa 25,100 BBY, the Hutts came to control the planet, enslaving or conscripting the natives as soldiers. The planet and its inhabitants remained indentured to the Hutts for most of its history through to the Galactic Civil War.

Coming under nominal Imperial control during the Galactic Civil War, the seeds of rebellion were sowed across Klatooine and in 44 ABY the Klatooinians revoked the treaty that enslaved them and began mass revolts. With the help of the Galactic Alliance, the planet was able to shed its Hutt masters and join the galactic government.

Tas-La System (S-9)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Tas-La

Tas-La was a remote planet controlled by the Hutt cartels throughout its galactic history.

Vodran System (S-9)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Vodran

Homeworld of the reptilian humanoid Vodran species, the planet was a humid, murky world of swamps and rainforests. Like other planets in the region, Vodran was indentured to the Hutt cartels via treaty in 25,100 BBY. Vodran remained under Hutt control until the Galactic Civil War, when it was brutally subjugated by the Galactic Empire. The planet remained in Imperial hands until it was conquered by the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion of the galaxy. Following the war with the Vong, Vodran joined the Corellian Confederation.

Vontor System (S-9)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Vontor

An ore rich world, Vontor was the site of a pinnacle battle between the forces of the Hutt cartels and Xim’s empire during the Xim War in 25,100 BBY. Eventually the planet joined the Galactic Republic, but the planet’s senators were merely puppets of the Hutt cartels. Eventually Vontor came under Vong occupation during their invasion of the galaxy, eventually joining the Corellian Confederation following the galactic war.
