touring the galaxy: savareen sector

Apatros System (Q-18)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Apatros

§ one unnamed moon/satellite

Apatros was a desolate world that was primarily populated by miners excavating cortosis, a metal used by both the Republic and the Sith Empire. The planet fell under Republic jurisdiction during the New Sith Wars, as was the homeworld of Darth Bane.

Fordon System (Q-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Fordon

Fordon was a remote system that saw little galactic traffic.

Christoph System (I-17)

· Star/Sun: Christoph

· Orbits:

o Christophsis

§ one unnamed moon/satellite

o Erodsis

§ 22 unnamed moons/satellites

Erodsis, the outer orbit, was a gas giant incapable of hosting life. Christophsis, on the other hand, was a thriving Republic world, adorned by an emerald-turquoise crystalline landscape. Originally colonized by Republic nobles around 600 BBY, the civilization came to be ruled by a mercantile oligarchy, erecting elaborate cityscapes across the majestic world.

During the Clone Wars, the Separatists gained initial control of Christophsis, forcing the Republic a costly victory to reclaim the planet, and devastating the planet’s economy, ecology, and civilization development in the process. After the war, Christophsis came under Imperial rule, never being able to fully recover from its devastation.

The system also had three asteroid belts: the Barrens ringed around Christophsis, the Hammers located between Christophsis and Erodsis, and the Halo marking the outer reaches of the system.

Koobi System (Q-16)

· Star/Sun: Koobi

· Orbits:

o Nelvaan

§ three unnamed moons/satellites

An arctic world of icy forests, glaciers, tundras and mountains, Nelvaan was the homeworld of the blue-furred Nelvaanian wolf-like humanoid species. During the Cold War between the Republic and “True” Sith Empire roughly 3,600 years before the Clone Wars, Nelvaan was controlled by the Sith. They would eventually gain independence from their imperial overlords, only to come under Separatist rule during the Clone Wars.

Korness System (Q-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Gellefon

Gellefon was an alpine world that came under imperial control during the Galactic Civil War.

Redcap System (Q-17)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Redcap

Redcap was a planet with a predominately barren, though wet, landscape, creating swathes of mud-swamps and marshy crags. During the Galactic Civil War, the planet was controlled by the Galactic Empire for mining purposes.

Ruhe System (Q-17)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Ruhe

Ruhe was a remote world of dense forests, occupied by Separatist forces during the Clone Wars.

Savareen System (Q-16)

· Star/Sun: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Savareen

Savareen was a remote system that saw little galactic traffic.

Tyrius System (R-16)

· Star/Sun: Tyrius

· Orbits:

o Mikak

o Rodia

§ Eiska

§ Enak

§ Soomana

§ Yasooska

o Pirdia

§ eleven unnamed moons/satellites

o Toosma

§ eighteen unnamed moons/satellites

o Taoska

All but one planet in the Tyrius system was unihabitable, with Mikak being a scorched world too close to its star to sustain life, Pirdia and Toosma being gas giants, and Taoska being an ice world too remote and cold to hold life. Rodia, on the other hand, was teeming with life. Homeworld to the reptilian Rodians, Rodia was a tropical world of jungles and swamps.

Rodia first joined the Republic as early as 15,000 BBY but changed allegiance multiple times through galactic history: shifting to the Sith Empire multiple times, having a loose allegiance with the Hutts, briefly aligning with the Separatists during the Clone Wars, coming under Imperial jurisdiction during the Galactic Civil War, followed by joining the New Republic, and then joining the Yuuzhan Vong forces before returning to the Galactic Alliance and ultimately Darth Krayt’s Sith Empire.

Rodia had four moons, Eiska and Soomana being large asteroids that were captured by the planet’s gravity, while Enak and Yasooska were small, uninhabited moons.

Tythe System (Q-16)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Tythe

Once a lush world like Naboo, Tythe was stripped of its natural resources by a corporation, leaving the planet a desert wasteland some time prior to the Clone Wars. The Republic briefly housed a garrison on the planet, but during the Clone Wars, the planet was captured by the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

Zaadja System (R-16)

· Sun/Star: unnamed

· Orbits:

o Zaadja

Zaadja was an arctic world of frozen tundras, mountain ranges and plains. It came under Separatist rule during the Clone Wars.
