Hello, we're back with day 14 of the Hasbro poll. As a refresher Hasbro has brought back the Fan Poll for a new figure and there are two EU figures in the mix. I have taken it upon myself to keep track of the vote totals, as they are only through comments and hashtags, and am giving a day by day update and analysis on how the poll is going. I’ll start as always with a brief recap the previous day, day 13, before getting to yesterday’s action.
Day 13
Votes were up again to the 300 mark which is roughly half of what we saw during peak voting last week. Trooper and Starkiller came away with the most votes again with Ahsoka cutting the lead to third place to only 6. Weequay and Ahsoka picked up vote share again though only in fractions of percentages. With just two days to go Republic trooper holds on to it's lead. It'll take over 900 votes a day for Ahsoka or Weequay to catch it, and about 450 votes a day for either of them to pass Starkiller.
Day 14
Hasbro posted a reminder on their story on Instagram today and over 400 people flocked to vote there. Still though the vote totals only doubled the daily averages we have been seeing for the past week. Not surprisingly Republic Trooper and Starkiller had the highest vote totals as usual, with Weequay gaining 10 votes on Ahsoka for third place, bringing their lead to 16 going into the final day. Republic Trooper has nearly a 1000 vote lead for first, with Weequay and Ahsoka needing 950 votes to take second and 2000 to take first. And of course Imperial Tank Driver which is at this point just happy to be here.
Projections
For the first time in a long time the projection numbers actually went up for everyone except the Tank Driver. With Weequay increasing the lead for third to 16 I think just about every position is set. Maybe Ahsoka could pull a late rally but they've had nearly a week to do it and can't seem to get over the hump, even with the spike in votes. If you want to track this yourself you can do so by looking at the comment numbers as when I pulled the data the comments on the Facebook page were at 2343 and the comments on Instagram were at 6394 (Instagram has always had over twice the votes as Facebook). All you have to do is look at the total comment total on each, subtract from the ones I have and if that number is lower than the vote lead numbers I mentioned earlier, then mathematically speaking it is impossible for those trailing in the polls to have caught up.
We're almost there everyone, just one more day to close this out. Keep voting, keep Republic Trooper and Starkiller at #1 and #2, and lets show them just how much support there is for Legends!
