Hasbro Poll Watch Day 11

Hello, we're back with day 11 of the Hasbro poll. As a refresher Hasbro has brought back the Fan Poll for a new figure and there are two EU figures in the mix. I have taken it upon myself to keep track of the vote totals, as they are only through comments and hashtags, and am giving a day by day update and analysis on how the poll is going. I’ll start as always with a brief recap the previous day, day 10, before getting to yesterday’s action.

Day 10

Day 10 was more of the same with another all time low in vote totals. Trooper came away with the most with Starkiller taking one more than Ahsoka and Weequay staying close. One thing I haven't really been mentioning is the Imperial Tank Driver totals as they have been historically very low and outside of a miracle they have no chance of winning it all. But today saw the first time anyone only received one new vote, and the third day in a row the Tank Driver's new vote totals halved.

Vote share wise Starkiller and Tank Driver lost a bit while Weequay and Ahsoka gained some. Though as usual they are in the fractions of percentages and both are still over 800 votes from second and 1600 from first.

Day 11

Day 11 saw a jump in voting totals though not by much, all but Weequay lost vote share though again we're talking about fractions of percentage points here. Both Starkiller and the Republic Trooper had higher totals of new votes in support for them. Weequay did pull away from Ahsoka after losing ground yesterday, but is only ahead by just over 20 votes. They are still down by over 800 votes for second and 1600 for first. What this means is that in order to pass Starkiller it would need to outvote it by 210 votes per day, and to pass the Republic Trooper it would need to outvote it by 410 votes.

Projections

The charts themselves saw a rise in growth rate though the projection lines all dipped. I mentioned earlier the amount of additional votes Weequay would need to achieve each day to pull off the comeback and while I think that if current voting trends continue it isn't likely they will hit those totals I don't think is impossible. But at the same time I think there is a point at which we can call for sure where everyone will rank. A point that I'll call the 500 line.

Basically if current daily vote totals remain where they were these last 4 days then in order to reach back to the peak totals we would need an additional 500 votes per day. Any more than that would be too difficult given what we've seen before and, if it did happen would be obvious enough that Hasbro may look into what caused vote numbers to skyrocket so high. So if we assume the same 200-250 people continuing to vote vote how they are voting, and we get the maximum amount of new people voting, and if all 500 of them voted for the same figure, they could only outvote the leaders by 500 votes per day. Meaning that as soon as a figure requires more than 500 more votes per day than their competition to pass them, they will most likely not win. Right now that means the the Imperial Assault Tank Driver is out, and as stated before Weequay and Ahsoka need around 210 per day to get second and 410 for first. With 4 days to go we can shut down that window and secure the one two placement of the EU figures, but only if we keep voting.

You can vote at either of the following links but only once per day per account
